The
Lucchetta Marcello’s wine company
is only led by Lucchetta’s family (by Giuseppe, Mario,
Ales-sandro and Marco) that, through a limited production and an
aimed management of the vineyard, respect of tradition and aid of
the modern technologies, offers in cellar a product of high quality,
recognized also by famous oenological regional, national and international
contests.

The
company is actually composed of a single building that covers a
surface of about 50 hectares. Of those, almost an half is used as
vineyard, while the rest as herb-growing and meadow.

All
vineyards are located on the hill area, while the remaining growings
are placed on plains. The soil composition is mostly clayey, with
some softer areas.

The
actual varieties are: concerning the white berrycultivar, Prosecco,
Verdiso, Chardonnay, white Pinot (Pinot bianco), Incrocio Manzoni
6.0.13, renanian Riesling, Verduzzo and Sauvignon. The red berry
varieties are represented by Cabernet franc, Cabernet sauvignon,
Merlot and Marzemino.The farming systems used are sylvoz, guyot
and double upside down. Implantation density varies from 2500 to
4500 plants per hectar.
On about an half of the vineyards, the total natural herb-growing
is done, while on the remaining, the intermediate row is herb-growed
and the under row is processed.The fight against cryptogams and
the main adversities is done using the integrated fight system,
utilizing biological method, with a low environmental impact.
